    Boogeyman

    Rented It.

Well, my jaw hit the floor during the first five minutes as I was floored by the ambiance, sound, and style. It went swiftly downhill from there.

A long and tiresome disjointed plot with recurring/predictable "jump" effects. The plot (if you'd call it that) is horrible. When you finally see the Boogeyman it's dissapointing.

Just another Hollywood failure (in my eyes atleast) that follows along the lines of The Ring, White Noise, etc. Not as bad as Alone in the Dark, but borderline on being even worth renting.

:25: out of :5: for the opening sequence.

:25: out of :5: for the whole film (mainly due to my enthusiasm over the opening scene)

It's worth a rent even if you shut it off halfway through. That opening sequence just kicks @$$.

I watched this last night. Even I (who can find positive in anything) disliked this film. What a mess.

Jeez John, you have a bit more tolerance for movies than I do (and I definitely lean towards the accepting end of the spectrum), so that makes this one scary sounding.

Jumpy no doubt... for some reason my daughter and niece liked it and watched it twice.

I was rather disappointed myself. I can't even muster up one star for it.

This last weekend we had some friends over for dinner to see our new house. We moved in July and are just now having people over. So he sees the speakers in the family room and says so this is you system. I talk about my audio system so they know I like music. Of course I will give them a demo after...

Sci-fi in the classic sense. I'm not talking about nit-pickin' little things, taken on the whole this story will hold you from beginning to end.
Very good video transfer, sound is fine...check out the opening sequence...

                    Folks,

What better tonic on a Friday (and a snowy one at that....) than to be forced to sit at home and play with my new Christmas present, the delightful Denon 2200. This review is going to be audio-based; for hi-res, cd layer and dvd playback.

                    First off, this unit is...

Heist films are usually a dud and tend to be a bit comical at times but this one is completely different. I knew it would be as soon as the "Spike Lee Joint" sign pops up during the opening sequence. Spike Lee usually does pieces about racism and human element type pieces but here he does...
