Has anyone heard anything about this dvd being released in the next month or 2? Im hopeing that it will have DTS sound encoded on it :E If it does then i will definately have to have it! Now only if they could do days of thunder in DTS :E

It's scheduled for a June 7th release. Just next week in fact!!!! No details on the sound are posted on the sites I frequent.

It's shown as an unrated "enhanced" Director's Cut (more Angelina????), whatever that means.

Unrated doesn't guarantee us any more violence, blood, curse words or nudity. It just means it wasn't submitted to the MPAA. Sure we could hope for more Angelina but I don't see how it would be relevant to an already thin story.

Excellent, I have never purchased this movie and yet I really liked it, So this is a perfect excuse for me to get it!!!

With an already thin story, more Angelina and a DTS track are about the only things that would redeem this release.

Gone with the Wind it is not...to be sure, but Elenore on a good system just sounds awsome.....and of course Angelina doesnt hurt the show either.

Dont' get me wrong. I mean, I own the first release and I enjoy all the cars - especially Eleanor - up to the "flying Shelby" part. Then, it's too much. And yes the story is thin. But hey, it's not supposed to be Citizen Cane.

Now as to this release, I just dont' see much driving it unless there's something substantial in the added scenes or a new soundtrack/video re-master.

I just seen it in a walmart today, an i was all pumped to get it, an then i looked on the back of the box, an noticed "NO DTS" :evil: so i said oh well an put it back where i found it
