    RMB 1075 trigger operation

    I just got a 1075 amp, and I have a quick operations question.

    If I have the amp setup to be turned on and off via the trigger input, should the power LED always stay on?

    Thats whats happening to me and I'm wondering if thats how it goes. The manual makes no mention of the light status.

    Yes it will remain on. The LED's for the protection will light up and fade when the trigger is tripped to let you know that its in stand by mode.

      Hi all,

      Hello everyone,

      I am planning to upgrade my current system (5.1, see signature below for full details) to a 7.1 system with a pair of MonitorAudio GS60.

      I have to admit that this new system will be the heart of a brand new HC + Stereo system in my new house (in construction...

      RMB-1075 or RMB-1085
      by Guybrush
      I was wondering if replacing my RMB-1075 amplifier with the new RMB-1085 Class D amplifier would improve or make my system sound worse.
      I have 4 Magnepan SMGc and a Magnepan CC3 center speaker (which are all 4 ohm speakers) and a Velodyne DD12 powered subwoofer.

      P.S.
      I also...

      Upgrade : RMB-1075 -> RMB-1077
      by len73
      Hello there,

      My dealer just rent me a RMB-1077 (last piece - end of life, but huge discount).

      I installed it next to my current RMB-1075 and I am trying to test them simultaneously. First feeling : the 1077 seems to produce tighter bass and softer mids and highs.
