Hello everyone,
I am planning to upgrade my current system (5.1, see signature below for full details) to a 7.1 system with a pair of MonitorAudio GS60.
I have to admit that this new system will be the heart of a brand new HC + Stereo system in my new house (in construction
). GS60 will run both Strereo and Surround, the 4 GS20 will then become the surrounds (quite high-end surrounds, I agree !)
So, my question to you is : do you think it would make sens to power the GS60 with a new ROTEL RMB-1080 (+current RMB-1075 for center + surrounds) or is it better to go with the digital version RMB-1077 (that would also replace my RMB-1075) ?
The RMB-1080 is rated 2X200w which would be just great for the GS60 (quite demanding).
What do you think about this choice ? Any advice or comments ?
Thank you in advance,
Cheers,
Len
