Since the Rotel 1068 doesn't have a DVI out, the component out would produce the highest quality picture, right? Also, what cables do you use to connect the 1068 to an amp (I plan to get the 1075)?

Yes Component Video is the best quality IMO.
There are some good threads in here by Aussie Geoff on interconnect cables. I use the 1075 amp and currently use Tara Labs Interconnects :T

Interconnect is actually what I was looking for - but you've answered that. I'm newbie enough to not worry about brands yet, but worry about *which* cable actually does it.
