    Well just need the RSP-1098

I just need the RSP-1098 to "complete" " " my Home theater. Right now I am running a RMB-1075 to the center B&W CMC and back surround 2 pair of B&W CM-2's (7.1) and the RMB-1070 is running the mains B&W CM-6. enjoy the pictures. I Also need to replace the Energy sub but not sure if I want to go with B&W....any comments...

    any comments...
Nice chairs! It looks like a great HT room :T

As for set up the first thing I'd do is pull your front speakers out a foot or so and toe them in slightly. I'd also buy two rubber door stops and tilt that centre channel down a little as well.

As for the sub I'd look at either Adire or SVS. I know Adire has a sale on their cylinder sub (sadhara) that's very nicely priced at the moment and its a killer sub.

        Woo Woooooo,

By far, you have the funniest avatar I've seen. I can't believe you used Bubb Rubb! I've watched that video clip so many times and it gets better every time. Classic!

There's likely at least another year + (probably closer to 1.5) for the 1098 IMO (educated guess). If you're that worried buy a used one or get a 1068 etc until the next generation comes out. Otherwise buy and be happy

I am certainly happy with my RSP-1098 for the next couple of years, especially with the firmware upgrades that Rotel provides. 7.1 with Dolby ProIIx is beautiful.

                Regards,

                  by Mikael
Can anybody tell me if this is normal..?When I use my sub and use the crossover filter in the RSP1098 the sub makes a popping sound every time the RSP1098 clicks from dolbydigital to 2ch and back, and when I change the input from cd to tuner and other settings?

Adire sub with shiva driver with DT300 or AVA250 amp?

                  Hello everyone

I am thinking whether I ought to get myself an Adire subwoofer. Can anyone give a view about a subwoofer built with the following specs:

88.5 liter closed enclosure (down-firing design)
                  Shiva 12" driver with an

Sent friend to get Rava, he buys Sadhara
                  by Jeff Aguilar
I have been helping a friend put together a new system for his home. They had a very limited budget they wanted to spend. They did not want to spend over $300 for a receiver and not over $300 for a sub to be purchased at a later time.
I did talk him into going for the Outlaw 1050 at $499. While...

Just a tale about work in progress, who's only moral is to consider your options and choices carefully. This is about making a "simple sub" from stuff on hand- for testing with the development version of my monolith line array, and to use in my bedroom system.

                  I'm getting ready...

Pros and cons of a PR Sub
                  by MightyM
Not too long ago I completed a pair of Adire 281s for my mains and now I'm looking at building a subwoofer to pair them with to help fill out the lower end. The 281s do well down to about 50Hz, but right around there the bass starts to get a bit "thin".

                  At this point I'm looking...
