    Video bandwidth 100mhz or 200mhz?

I have been doing some research and I came accross this quote:
"The original bandwidth of the RSP 1066’s component video inputs is 10MHz. However more recent shipping models have upgraded this bandwidth to 200MHz to support HDTV bandwidth"
I thought according to this quote " Rotel then changed the chips to allows HDTV signals to pass properly and all newer machines can pass upto 100 mhz", that the max was 100mhz.
What models pass the 100mhz and What model numbers?

You should be able to do a search for this as if I remember right, there was a thread that gave the cut off serial numbers from when Rotel when from one to the other. As far as I know, the 1055, 1065, and 1066 all have this upgrade capability.

I believe its 200 mhz and at least the 1055 and 1066 can be upgraded if they aren't already using the new chips (which anything purchased today should be unless its old stock)

        Rotel 1065 v. 1055 v. 1066
        by spacey
        All,

I am seriously considering the purchase of a Rotel 1065 receiver, and have been reviewing the posts on this forum. I note that there is a lot of info on the 1066+Amp, and 1055, but relatively little on the 1065. I will be using it with B&W N804, N805, and HTM2.

Does RSX-1065 suffer from low bandwith?
        by Victor Chan
Anyone know if the RSX-1065 has the same low bandwidth video switching problem that the RSP-1066 and the RSX-1055 had and if it does, at what point if any, was it upgraded to the new 100mHz bandwidth that the current production run of RSP-1066s enjoy?

It's a "numbers game"... what IS the RDC-7's video bandwidth ?
        by Burke Strickland
According to their sales literature, the Integra Research RDC-7 has "broadcast quality" component switching. In their online product summary, the cite the bandwidth figure quoted since "day one" -- 45-MHz -- while their PDF-format downloadable brochure lists 60-MHz. I have been assured...

        Finally, decided on RSP-1066 & RMB-1075. . .

Thanks to all who contribute to this forum, as you have helped to steer me in what I think is the right direction. I've been lurking for quite a while, and have learned a lot. I've also been looking at components off and on for 6 months to upgrade from a Denon AVR-3300, and finally ordered the Rotel...
