    Component video bandwidth RSX-1055?

I have been getting conflicting stories on the component video input bandwidth for the RSX-1055. My receiver is only a month old. The Rotel website on the FAQ page states that some of the newer models go up to 200MHz to support HDTV. Has anyone heard of this or have a model that has this upgrade?

    Thanks

    hi,

check your firmware version. if it begings with a 2.xx it has the bandwith components on the videoboard for 200mhz.

or search this forum about firmware or bandwith, its been discussed several times.

      Video bandwidth 100mhz or 200mhz?
      by mattburk
I have been doing some research and I came accross this quote:
"The original bandwidth of the RSP 1066’s component video inputs is 10MHz. However more recent shipping models have upgraded this bandwidth to 200MHz to support HDTV bandwidth"
I thought according to this quote...

Does RSX-1065 suffer from low bandwith?

Anyone know if the RSX-1065 has the same low bandwidth video switching problem that the RSP-1066 and the RSX-1055 had and if it does, at what point if any, was it upgraded to the new 100mHz bandwidth that the current production run of RSP-1066s enjoy?

      RSX1056 Video Switching Card Bandwidth?

I'm not happy with the PQ I'm getting from satellite high def. My satellite receiver's output is going into my Rotel via component and is then going out from the Rotel into my front projector via component cable. Someone on another board (AVSforum) suggested that my problem may be my receiver. He contends...

It's a "numbers game"... what IS the RDC-7's video bandwidth ?
      by Burke Strickland
According to their sales literature, the Integra Research RDC-7 has "broadcast quality" component switching. In their online product summary, the cite the bandwidth figure quoted since "day one" -- 45-MHz -- while their PDF-format downloadable brochure lists 60-MHz. I have been assured...
