According to their sales literature, the Integra Research RDC-7 has "broadcast quality" component switching. In their online product summary, the cite the bandwidth figure quoted since "day one" -- 45-MHz -- while their PDF-format downloadable brochure lists 60-MHz. I have been assured by Integra Research that all units that have been upgraded with the hardware upgrade that includes THX Ultra 2 have the same video switching bandwidth as newly manufactured units -- and in their email they quoted 50 MHz. So I wonder if they even know what the real number is? :>)
On the bright side, though, so far, everyone around here who has tried their RDC-7's component switching has reported NO visible degradation of the video signal, so perhaps the exact number is irrelevant except for "bragging righrts". :>)
Any thoughts?
