I just got the RDV-1060 over a week ago and I notice there's like a teeny weeny vibration that I hear from the system, it does not affect the sound or video quality at all but it's a concern. I sounded like a belt or a fan coming from the inside, not noticeable when you look, but if you put your hand over it and then you start to feel it. Anyone ever had a problem like this or is it pretty normal. I own a PS2 and sometimes it goes like that. I have never heard it on my Arcam, but should I suspect either Power supply or a belt that's just normally noisy. Any input would be appreciated.

I have just spoke to the dealer and he showed me a same model just out of the box and he experimented with a dvd and a cd and it did vibrate, he was just explaining all that mechanism in their was spinning like 200of a ms or something thats why the spindle goes so fast and vibrate, so I guess it's pretty normal. Hey thanks for the reply.- Bottom

by sirbogeyMy RDV1060 came back from Rotel with an exchanged tray. When I put in a DVD or CD, it takes like 10 secs for the disc to load. This was a matter of 2-3 secs before. What have they done to it?
Another question: I changed the picture to watch a movie in progressive mode. When I do that,...-

If the RDV1060 is connected to my TV through the SCART connection and the DVD-player is set on SCART then the TFT on the 1098...-

by KempHi all,
Could anyone tell me the difference, if any, when playing a CD on the RDV1060 compared to the RCD1072. I was enquiring about the RCD1072 and the salesman advised me to rather go with the RDV 1060.
Any comments will be appreciated.

by fordsterI've had my RDV1060 for a few weeks now and finally got round to buying a DVD Audio (Under Rug Swept - Alanis Morrisette). When I insert the disc the player picks up that it is a DVDA and shows 96-24MLP on the display. However, that's about all that happens beyond a bit of clicking. The timer eventually...-

At the moment the HTM2D would not be powered,...-
