Rotel RSP1068/RB1090/RDV1060 for B&W 803D's

Hi All,

I'm all up in the area about a new processor/amp/dvd for my B&W speakers.

I've been thinking of change the HK AVR and DVD to the following:

Rotel RSP1068/RB1090/RDV1060 for B&W 803D's

At the moment the HTM2D would not be powered, but thats fine, I will have to sort something out for it.

The gear is second hand processor is about 1K vs 7K for a new Meridian G68 processor.

Would it be 7x better? WHO KNOWS!?!?!?

I have 803s-htm3s-805s-750sub. Rotel rsp1068-rb1092 for front - rb1091 mono for center - another rb1092 for rear.
I happy. the new rb1091-92 powerampli are really good - sound controlled for bass fr. - mid. no words. The rsp1068 is too good.
but this setup is a not a high end system.
If you want to buy once "in the life" you must go with ex. Classè or so like that.
pre ampli Classè SSP600 with XLR plus a power CA5200 = really pure quality
in audio.
videa buy a separated scaler: the DVDO iScan 50 is the best available.(1080p-60/50/24, no problem for bluray,HD,....) VIDEO without compromise.
OR
see the Anthem D2 as preampli (inside a Gennum video processor!)
XLR, Hdmi, compatible with the new DD+ and co. AND not so expensive like
SSP600 + DVDO50.

The Classè SSP600 will replaced in new year from SSP700 (same gear with hdmi but always without scaler inside).
Personaly I will replace my set with a one from this solution. (the anthem D2 with a classe ampli CA5200 can be too a solution or all from Anthem D2 like pre and power ampli P5 (5x325watt@8ohm).

it seems that it tries a definitive system therefore not to buy a gears and after little time not to be satisfied = make one new expense or?!?
