    Thanks!

The rack is a Salamander Archetype. I love how its 100% adjustable. Its a pain to put together and get level but the results are worth it. I was going to make my own following the same desgin but living in apartment and having no decent tools or workspace makes DIY projects a little tough.

Shelf spacing is about 4.75 inches (is that what you mean by "platter measurement"). The shelf with the 1068 is a little bigger and the 1077 a little smaller. Trying to the shelves level is no small task, to make it easy and uniform I simply used DVD cases as spacers.

      hi

this is my first post here :T
first of all, sorry for my poor english ;x(

      I have a question...

      - I would buy a Rotel RSP-1098...

      BUT

when ROTEL make a new model with HDMI in/out?!
      RSP-1098 haven't it!
example: a new RSP-1099 with this connections?!

      - this pre, is it ok with Rotel RMB-1077 and B&W XT series?!

      thank you
I wish you a nice day!

Here is mine. I have bought way more than I can fit in this entertainment center. A new one is coming soon.

That is absolutly awesome! bi-amped studio 100v3's with rb-1090's. I have my 100's running with a single 1090 and am totally blown away at how GOOD it sounds. You must have felt it was worth while to get two 1090's, I would like to know how much of an improvement you would get with running 2 1090's over 1 1090.

          Cheers, David

Thank you David! It is rather impressive to say the least.
I did and do think it was worth having 2 1090's. these amps do an INCREDIBLE job for any price range.
I listen to music at very high SPL's and at those levels I would get some distortion, I was pushing one 1090 as far as it would go. Now I have more clarity and soundstage than ever and the week link is now the Studio 100's, I am bottoming them out now. That's ok with me though, I still have crystal clear music at 110bd+, all the way up to where I bottom out the bass drivers on the studios. Wich is really too loud anyway...lol
If you have the money and you like it very loud and crystal clear, this is the only way to go.

I posted once a long time ago, but my system has totally changed as of yesterday. A BIG THANKS to Kevin D for spending a lot of his time helping me with a custom step in the setup.

It may not be audiophile, but my loft can not support that. I have been trying to build a solid Lifestyle 2ch/Home Theater system.

my dealer gives me full trade in value when i make a reasonable upgrade. In my case i went from a RSX 1067/RDV 1060 to a RSP 1068/1077/1072 and i got an apx $3500 trade in towards it. I have gone from a entery Denon amp, and B&W 300s to my current set up largely due to the great upgrade progam.

Wow, that's a great program. Wish my dealer would do that. Instead, I've been resolved to sell my stuff on audiogon.com, and apply that toward my upgrades. Fortunately, both Rotel and B&W hold their values very well in the used market.

The only condition is I must upgrade within a year of buying the equipment and it does not apply to video equipment. I am surprised your dealer does not offer this program as I thought it was supported by B&W and Rotel.

It works great if you think about it form the dealers point of view. First off There is no discounts on trade in meaning I trade on what price i paid vs the full MSRP of the new product. There are also always people looking for quality used AV equipment. Think of it this way. I have spent over 25k in the last 4 years with my dealer..it would likely be half that or less if they didnt offer a trade in program.

They are good to me and I am good to them.

Here is a shot for anyone looking to see what a RCD-1072/RC-1070/RB-1080 stack looks like in silver. It's pushing a pair of Paradigm Signature S4's.

Eventually I'll put 'em on some sort of stand/platform. Haven't found anything I like yet though... :B

Nice veneer on the S4! Heard them running on Anthem amps a few days ago, thought they were clean and clear throughout the frequency range.

Isaac, nice going. My system looked very similar to yours for couple of years. Now I'm thinking of maintaining a HT system, but am also slowly converting into a 2 channel stereo. What are you getting? I'm thinking of adding a shanling or jalida CD player to my 1098, 1075, 1060...

I have been stacking my HT/HiFi equipments for many years (10+ years now), "touch wood" so far nothing have been fried . The 1098 used to be sitting on the 1095 before I add the 1092, the setup have been for almost 2 years now. The 1095 never get very hot but surprising only warm.
