Please post in the correct forum

I've noticed recently that quite a few of the posts being posted in Club Rotel really belong in other area's of the guide site. If you post your threads in the correct area you're more likely to have your post seen by people with the answers. For example if you're asking about buying a new remote control for your rotel pre amp it really belongs in the Electronic Devices area rather then in Club Rotel. Basically unless its specfic to Rotel and there's another area for your question please post it there first. Thanks for your co-opperation

I'd also like to add a little more specific info here. Anything that is really generic to all audio gear, usually belongs in the general areas. Power conditioners, electrical talk, asthetics for system setup, general calibration not specific to Rotel software, system synergy issues that relate to other gear besides just Rotel and so on.

Other areas of the forum are starving for your participation on these and other topics. Doing your part to properly catagorize your topics would be appreciated.

Remember, Club Rotel is for Rotel talk. Receiver, pre-pro, amp questions, CD, DVD, folks looking to buy Rotel, asking questions and so on.

    Thanks,
    HTG Admins

I just want to say, I see a greater effort by members to post in the correct area, and we appreciate it! Participation in other areas is up, and that's a real good thing. It makes HTG better for everyone. Thanks guys for helping out.

Ok, I've hit the wall over Club Rotel!
            by Lex
Guys, Club Rotel is only PART of HTGuide. Some of you seem to think allHTG is about is Club Rotel. It happens again and again and again. Non related to Rotel topics being posted in Rotel. The fact is, we need you posting in the other areas.

            Let me re-iterate:

A gentle reminder... Choose your forum carefully
            by Lex
I am noticing an increased propensity of cross posts that are very specific in nature to areas such as video, audio, diy, etc... all showing up in the Chalet.

Now, we don't bust your chops on this stuff at htguide, that's a fact. Can anyone remember the last time a moderator moved a thread?...

Local HT meet with Marc Schnoll of B&W/Rotel
            by greggz
My local Rotel/B&W dealer hosted an “invitation-only” (translation: you’ve spent money here before) event the week to meet Marc Schnoll, who is a product specialist with B&W and Rotel.

Marc was a very informative and entertaining speaker. He talked quite a bit about the...

Andrew Pratt, stepping down as moderator of Club Rotel
            by Lex
Guys, he gave a lot to Rotel here, effectively starting the club. But Andrew has decided to move on, not from HTG, he'll still be around as moderator to answer questions in other areas, and who knows may still pop in to lend an assist in Club Rotel (I hope), but with a toddler and a new baby, as well...

            Rotel running B&W speakers.
            by Dmantis
            Hello folks,
I have been thinking alot about Rotel mated with B&W speakers. Running everything under N series I feel is Ideal. But when you get to N series I believe you can do a alittle better or better put the speakers could use alittle better.

I see alot of guys using...
