    Bought a 1056 today!

    Thanks to the advice of everyone on this board, I bought a 1056 today! I had to order it because my dealer only stocks the 1067 and 1068.

    Also bought a pair of Paradigm Atoms for the back surrounds. My old Denon 2800 will power these and the second zone.

    Anyone in the Baltimore-Washington area interested in a good deal on Rotels should e-mail me. My dealer (authorized and local) sold me the 1056 for $1,000.00. They also had a demo 1066 for $999.00.

      $1000 is a great deal. I wish I was close to that area. There's only one dealer in Maine who is 5 hours from me and he won't go below MSRP and won't even mail me one, not that I would pay MSPR anyway.

          I am interested in the new rsx 1056. Now does my dealer say that probably the 1055 is off a better quality because both receivers have the same price and the 1056 has more features he thinks the quality off te 1056 will be lower than the 1055. My question is are there more changes...

          Finally got my new RSX-1056 yesterday morning (Saturday). Dealer had been promising me weekly since mid-February that the new Rotel receivers would be in "next week". Finally had to special-order it and it still took three weeks.

          Well guys I had to do it again. I already own a RSX-1056,but today I went crazy. Bought me a new RSX-1057,RMB-1066,pair of Dynaudio audience 72's,dynaudio 122 center, and a pair of Dynaudio 52's.This is all going in my home theater room with the new Panasonic TH-50PX60U plasma.
