    Rotel in Daredevil

I can't believe none of you guys/gals have mentioned the 1065s appearance in Daredevil. It may not be Oscar material but I surely don't believe I am the only one who saw it.
I can see the new slogan now "Rotel the choice of blind Superheroes!"

Along with B&Ws mention in traffic we got both sides of the crime spectrum covered!

Well it's not out on DVD yet, so how would I see it :?

You actually went and saw a movie in cinemas? Didn't you tell me that if I spend all this money on the Rotel home theater gear (and you know how much I spent), I wouldn't need to go to cinemas anymore?

Maybe I should ask for a discount next time

Funny, I didn't see the Rotel, but I did see my remote (Marantz RC5200). I couldn't help but wonder, why would a blind man be using a touch-screen LCD remote?

Maybe he's got a waterproof version and uses it in the shower with his radar sense :P The 1065 is in one of the scenes in his apartment. He comes in and turns on music. I believe there was closeup of his hand and then they pan up and you see it's a 1065 he's using. The surround was actually pretty good in that movie. The part where the voices in his head are coming from all directions comes to mind. Might make a nice demo scene when it hits DVD.

Don't worry Daredevil could not see the RSX 1065 either

                You would buy this?

The Wife & I went to see it last night, not bad. It was cool to see the 1065 in the movie. It was a Black one, which surprised me. It seems like Rotel is really pushing the Silver lately, as it's ALL OVER rotel.com. I guess Daredevil prefers the touchscreen Marantz RC3200 over the hard button Rotel remote (LOL). Musta been the Marantz RC3200-B (brail version). Which B&W speakers were in Traffic BTW? I don't seem to recall those.

Okay, here's a flashback to an old post...

Did some system adjustment/calibration tonight, and wanted a movie with good Sub material. Read a post the other day that mentioned Daredevil, so I thought I'd give it a try. When I saw the Rotel RSX-1065 in the movie, I knew I had to comment on the product placement in this forum. Seems someone beat me to it, about 3.5 years ago!

BTW, this movie has some tremendous subwoofer action, if you feel like exercising your system a bit. :E
