Hello,
Thanks to reading your forum for the past few days, I pulled the trigger and purchased my 1066 yesterday. Whee!
I have a boat-load of questions, but here is my first:
Do you recommend that I use the 1066 for video switching?
I have:
2 S-video sources (Cable and Tivo),
2 Component Sources (HD Cable and DVD),
1 Composite Source (VCR)
On one hand I've read that you should never use a pre-pro for video switching due to signal loss. But on the other hand, I read the Sound and Vision review that said that the 1066 video switching was great, as long as you have the newer 1066 with the upgraded bandwidth for component video / HD.
How do I tell if I have a new enough unit?
Thanks all for your help!
Newbie-ishly yours,
Pete
