Need help sending bass to the subwoofer

    Hello, i need some help.

I purchased a Rap 1580 and I am unable to figure out how to send lfe when playing 2-channel pcm audio.

I have my rotel connected to the shield android tv and a Panasonic ub9000.

I have my rotel speaks set to small with the fronts crossover at 60hz and the center 80 hz and the sub at 120 hz.

For the sub i crossover dial set to max. It's the klipsch rpw10.

No matter what I do, pcm 2 channel audio does not route any bass to the sub. Only when it says dolby digital does it work.

I can fix this if I manually change the processing modes, but I would rather have the rotel do it automatically. Right now the mode is set to source dependent.

I am new to home audio, so I am not sure If this is possible.

I been testing using tidal, dvd rips I own using plex and kodi.

I tested setting the fronts to large and sub to max and that still does not work.

I have the audio for both devices sending their hdmi audio to the rotel.

    RSP-1066 - Audio Input Selection??
    by SayersWeb
Yesterday Cox Cable came out and installed their HDTV cable service. The bad news is that the HD channels seem to be the only ones sending audio over the digital coax audio output. The rest of the channels use the composit analog audio outputs.

Is the 1066 smart enough to automatically...
