Thanks for having this forum as it is appreciated. I have a RSX1550 that has previously required repairs which involved some amplifier circuit board replacement done at a non Rotel facility. Now I have other issues on which advice of any kind would be appreciated. Outputs for two channel such as stereo functioning correctly, but no signal on any video setting, ie no hdmi output to a monitor and no signal to any speaker, including test tones. Factory default switches the unit off but it will not power up again by itself. I am stumped. Anyone has an idea of what this may be?

I have just ordered my new SSP-800 but discovered that there are none available from Classe (perhaps a few dealers have some but given the demand...) until around mid to late August 2009.
Classe has told me that they will no longer be shipping units without the upgraded... -

RSX-1067 developed horrendous electrostatic pops (thru speakers) that disappear in bypass mode.
From that I concluded that the issue is with digital board, part number PCB 016 E-1399C00.
Rotel sells these for $575 which I don't want to spend given the age of the unit.... -
Just ordered the new HDMI 2.0a board. My dealer said, "HDR is not available to be passed through the board. They may get that resolved in firmware at a later date but no guarantee." My dealer will also install the board. Will keep the you all informed when the upgrade is completed.
