Low voltage on trigger out? Rmb-1585

Does anyone here use the trigger out on the pm back of the rmb1585?

I'm only getting 8.75v from the trigger out per my multimeter. My marantz is showing a full 12v.

Does anyone else have low voltage from the trigger out on any of their Rotel Amps?

    Thanks

Confirmed... Rotel has low output trigger voltage.

After emailing with Rotel (B&W) support, the trigger out on all of their 1585 models is only 8.7V. Also, they said their amps will take a trigger voltage down to 2.5v to turn on, which is good. If I needed to trigger something else that with the amp trigger output, then they recommended http://www.powerswitchtail.com/ which is a trigger switched 15amp outlet that can accept down to 3v for under $30

So moral of the story, either Rotel's manuals are just wrong or their amps are all manufactured incorrectly...that being said their support department is responsive.

I don't seem to be able to get my Denon receiver and Rotel power amp to play nice together when I attempt to use the 12V trigger to power up the amp. I have a Radio Shack 3.5 mono cable for the trigger cable. The cable goes from the Denon trigger out to the Rotel trigger in, as it should. When...

Hi All, my first post! I'm a long time Rotel fan
I have 2 RB1091 amps which I got a deal on from my local dealer several years ago. At the time he said the 12v triggers weren't working. At the time this wasn't a problem for me. However since upgrading my system late last year I now want to...

Does anyone experience a slight him from the tweeters when using the rmb1585?

I have a slight hum with no audio coming through..I've tried disconnecting all the interconnects and the trigger. The amp is plugged into a Tripp Lite Lc1200 and I've tried plugging it in directly to the wall....

A 12 or 120 volt trigger for your pro amp
      by chasw98
This is a DIY project to build a device that will automatically turn on and off your "pro" amplifier. A lot of people around here have built subwoofers powered by pro amps like Crown, QSC, and Behringer. These pro amps have no way to be turned on or off remotely by either 12VDC or 120VAC "trigger"...
