    RKB-8100 amp

A question on the auto sensing turn on. Is this per channel or all channels together?

For example as a distribution amp it would not be ideal if all channels turned on when only one zone was required.

    Thanks!

If it's like every other distribution amp I've used, it will sense for audio on any input and turn the entire amp on.

Looks like it uses two power supplies, probably left/right. So even with only two outputs on and 6 at idle, you won't see much difference in power draw.

Looks like there's a newer D version with 4 Dacs inside. It might have the ability to sit down individual outputs, but you're still paying 4 Dacs all the time.

      Hi Steve,

The entire amplifier triggers on when it detects that a source is operating. However, if you have multiple sources attached to different zones and only one of those sources is active, then you will only hear music from the one active zone.
