    RA1570 Integ. DAC/Amp vs RC1570 preamp/RB1552 mkII combo

    Hi,
I'm considering the RA1570 Integrated DAC/Amp for a 2 channel setup, and possibly to combine it with a AVR for a 5.1 setup in the future. 2ch though is my main priority. My budget is under $2k and have a pair of B&W 683 speakers

However, does anyone have any feedback on how the RA1570 Integrated DAC/Amp would compare to the RC1570 preamp/RB1552 mkII combo. The RC1570/RB1552 look like they have the same specs as the RA1570. I realise the RC1570/RB1552 combo would need a DAC, but it would be great to know if there is much of a sound difference if for example using a DAC similar in quality to the RA1570 Integrated DAC/AMP (I'm guessing its DAC is in the $500-700 range).

I believe the prices are as follows
    RA1570 $1600

    RC1570 preamp $999
    RB1552 mkII 2ch Amp $999

    Thanks

      yes, you're right Audio_elf. I missed that.
So then that makes them all the same or it appears, the only difference is that the RC1570 and the RB1552 mkII exist in separate boxes wrt to the RA1570

I have no experience with the rotel pre/pro combo. However, I do own the ra1570 along with the b&w 683s and I am very pleased with the sound.

Review: A comparison of Rotel Integrateds - RA1570 vs RA1592
            by Joey_V
            Introduction:
This is a comparison between 2 pretty popular integrateds. The Rotel RC1570 has been Rotel's best new series 15 integrated amplifier since their introduction, however, most recently there has been this craze for better and more powerful integrated amplifiers. The days where an...

            RC 1550 and RB1552 wow!
            by Mikael
I have had my new stereo set consisting of the new RC 1550 and RB 1552 for 7 days now and it's getting better day by day. I have to say it is the best sounding Rotel amp(RB1552) I have heard, and it is not just an RB1070 in a new box, I tried the RB 1070 up till I got the RB 1552 and the RB 1552 has...

            RC1570 vs. RSP1572
            by TimbaLand
            Hi guys

I currently have an RSP1572 which is an excellent processor for both movies and stereo. Will there be much to gain in stereo if I were to buy the RC1570 and use it for stereo?

The rest of my system consist of RMB1585 which I use to drive the B&W 804 diamond...

            by TimbaLand
I currently own an RSP1572 and I'm wondering if the RC1570 would be much better than the RSP1572. Anyone with some experience on this?

            Rotel RC1570 HT bypass mode
            by TimbaLand
I am using Aux1 for HT bypass for Fronts with volume fixed so that when I watch movies volume control is done by processor. Does the RC1570 bypass mode pass through the sound from processor untouched through to power amp? I am asking this because when I read on HT bypass there is two types. One is...
