RSP-1570 and yellow screen via composite

    RSP-1570 and yellow screen via composite

    Hello,

    Im trying to hook up an old xbox via composite.
    But it doesn't matter in which composite in (1, 2 or 3) I put it, all give me a yellowish screen.
    Anyone have an idea what might be going on?

      I try my best to help whenever possible here on the HT Guide forum so I'll take a crack at this issue.

      Is it possible that you are wiring the Composite wire to a 'component' input?. Two VERY different connections my friend!!!.

          Does it does this with the scaler set at any resolution? Using HDMI or component output?

              Just received my new rsp1570. After two hours trying to get the OSD to come up on my pioneer plasma ( only after defaulting the remote ) I managed to hook up my rotel rotel cd player, rotel dvd player rdv1045, and my pioneer blu-ray.

              I havent had much time to tinker but the bluray audio...

              I have a VCR and a DVD connected to the RSX-1057. I have a 37' component video cable from the receiver to a ceiling mounted projector.
