    Rotel RSP-1098 question

    Hey all,
    I was wondering if anyone has this unit and listens through a 2.1 set up? I have a buddy who is looking to unload theirs for a really good price, but was unsure if it would be a good fit for my setup. I primarily listen to music and running B&W 604 s2 and have a B&K amp.

      For music....yes. For movies....less so.

          I've listened to the 604's and the 703's. The 703's sound much better to my ear, however, the 604's are very good. To me, the 604's sound better than the Energy C-9's (a former option).

          The 703's seem overpriced when compared to the 604's. Basically, you get two 604's for the price of...

          Can anybody tell me if this is normal..?When I use my sub and use the crossover filter in the RSP1098 the sub makes a popping sound every time the RSP1098 clicks from dolbydigital to 2ch and back, and when I change the input from cd to tuner and other settings?
