video not working on rotel rsx 1056

How can I get video images from my rotel rsx 1056 working again? I think I messed up the settings cause I haven't touched the wire connections and it was working before?

I have my infocus sp 7205 projector turned on (its connected to the 3 component mono outputs at the bottom right corner of the component in box). I can't even get a menu to pop up when I push the menu button on my rotel remote. For some reason, the rotel remote is now acting like a remote for my projector itself and pushing the menu button on the rotel remote pops up the menu for my projector - not the menu where I can adjust settings on the rotel.

I've got my dvd player connected to component video 2 in and an xbox connected to component video 3. Neither video is working though sound works fine.

Also, I want to switch my video 5 sound to come from the optical 1 digital input. Can someone remind me how to do that as well?

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it cause I got people coming for Christmas tommorrow.

Press and hold the 'AUD' button on the remote for a second. It seems you have pressed a button on the remote indicating that you want to control another device. If that doesn't work, you can always try removing the batteries and re-installing them.

For the other request, pull up the Rotel menu on your tv and go to input section. Toggle along until you get to video 5. Once there, toggle down to input assign and choose 'optical' and your done!.

    Happy holidays !!!

As far as the video not working, the progressive settings may have been changed.

Once you get into the menu by pressing AUD first, like Madman said, go into the other settings and set it to V1+V2+V3.

Other then that, check the green component video cable going to the projector, if it's loose, you won't get anything.
