    Rotel RSP-1570

This is a question not a problem.

I bought the RSP-1570, I have been playing with it for a week now. I must say it is a excellent processor. No problems what so ever, latest firmware updates.
I am trying to figure out how to set the (User Default) setting.

    1) I go to the (set user default) and press yes followed by entering the password :8888.
    2) Then I go to (user default) and press yes.... the processor shuts off.

So when the processor shuts off, does that mean the settings were saved? or am I doing something wrong. I have tried 3 times now and the same thing happens. So is this all normal?

    Thanks.

Step 1 saves the information so you can restore at a later point.

    Step 2 restores the information.

So you essentially saved and then restored. Restoring does shut down the unit.
