is it possible to get the faceplate in the RLC-1040 changed from black to silver? possibly send it to rotel to do this?

I had contacted Rotel about the same issue and here was the response:
Unfortunately, no. I do not have cosmetic parts for this unit and can no longer get them either. You could try to order it direct through APC but I was not able to get it from them when I tried.

I looked at the specs on both the RLC1040/1080 and the pictures shows that the RLC1040 has conditioned in/outlet for either phone line or ethernet line. I'm more interested in the conditioning for the ethernet cable, but the specs state that only the RLC1080 has the ability to condition ethernet cables....23 November 2006, 21:45 Thursday -
