    Rotel 1570 and DSD over HDMI

    I've read that the Rotel 1570 processor doesn;t support DSD over HDMI.

    Does anyone know if this function will ever be possible with the Rotel processor? Or when Rotel may release a processor that supports that?

      I recently exchanged my cable/DVR box for a Tivo HD. The cable company installed 2 Cable Cards in the Tivo which eliminates the need for the cablebox.

      I connect the RG6 cable from the wall directly to Tivo, then the Tivo directly to the RSP 1570 via HDMI.

      I read a caption in a magazine that said Rotel RSP 1570 preamps have 1.4a hdmi and 3d capability. Is this the latest models coming off the factory line that have this new version? Can a 1.3a hdmi input be updated via firmware to 1.4a? I'm aware of the 3d passthrough firmware...

      I want to run component video from the 1570 to a TV (no available HDMI input on TV due to equipment that I want to keep directly connected to it). Can other video inputs (BD player and Roku) to the 1570 be HDMI with the 1570 then outputting the picture via component video? Thank you.
