Advice on a Monster HTS 5100 MKii, stopped working

Have several Rotel components plugged into the Monster HTS 5100 MKii.
This morning when I woke up, everything had lost power. I checked all of the compoonents, they will all power up if I go to the wall, but the power conditioner will not power up. It was not emitting a buzzing alarm as the manual said it would if it "sacrificed itself". I have tried other power outlets, no luck. Tried to reset the fuse, no luck.

I have has pretty high input voltage coming through the house lately, between 122-125 volts. I had called Edison, they said it was perfectly normal, not to worry.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

The surge protection board on it took a hit. I'm better your's is probably a few years old. Every single person I know that has had one of the Monster HTS, it eventually "takes a hit" and dies. Funny how they all are around the 4 - 6 year mark............

Not saying anything mind you, but go out and get yourself a much better one, the APC units are nice, I can recommend them highly. There's a lot of others too that will make your system go, "wow, that monster didn't do crap!"

Sorry to hear of your loss, but it happens to most Monster products.

And the repair bill for them is pretty outrageous, mine was almost the cost of what I paid for it...that's when I switched over to the APC with battery backup, it's made a noticeable improvement in the audio, video, maybe ever so slightly.
    Digital Audio makes me Happy.

US mains voltage tolerance is ± 5 %.

I had a nasty ground loop hum when I connected my Infocus X1 projector via the S-Video connection to the monitor out on my RSP-1066.I had the X1 plugged into a Panamax Max 1000+ at the side of my room. When I ran an extension cord from the Max 1000+ to my Monster HTS-5100 and plugged it into the HDTV...

life with rsp 1068 vs 1066 vs 1098
          by rosros
In feb I had a chance of comparing side by side the rsp 1098 with the rsp 1066. at the time, I was thinking about upgrading from the 1066 to the 1098. the rsp 1098 was a loaner from my rotel dealer. I had the 1098 for one week. Although the 1066 is a wonderful unit, for my usage, ultimately, it was...

Guys, new here, been looking for some time. Just picked up new:

          All,
Do you think this would be a good match with the following equipment? I am looking for a smoother/less aggressive sound.

          Arcam AV400 as a preamp
Proceed HPA3 amplifier - for front three channels
          B&W 804 Diamond
