Is this a big deal? Will have Oppo BD player and will wonder if I'm missing out on what some say is the ultimate way to enjoy SACD titles.

You'll get just as many insistent responses that there is no difference as you will those that say there are very discernible differences.
Sometimes it's difficult to simply confirm whether various players pass DSD or LPCM.
The answer is best found through your own testing or auditioning..

I'm assuming that the 1570 processes the same way as the 1560.
With an SACD in the 1560, it's reading a 88.2K PCM 2CH data stream (non surround SACD) - With Pink Floyd's DSOM SACD, I'm getting 88.2K MULTI CHANNEL. So, with the Oppo, you are getting better than CD quality over HDMI.
Oppo Audio Format Setup: HDMI Audio is Bitstream & SACD Output is PCM, LPCM Rate Limit is at 192K.

I just purchased the Oppo 95 AND upgraded from the SSP 600 to the 800. I am in the process of setting them up.
