I cant find the Rotel RSP-1570 manual anywhere... but it looks like an ethernet port on the back. Any chance it'll let me stream music from my computer directly to the receiver??

No. That is a serial port for firmware updates and RS-232 control.

Just received my new rsp1570. After two hours trying to get the OSD to come up on my pioneer plasma ( only after defaulting the remote ) I managed to hook up my rotel rotel cd player, rotel dvd player rdv1045, and my pioneer blu-ray.

I just started looking at this piece as a possible replacement for my aging receiver. I saw the specs on the Rotel page, I am wondering if that is an Ethernet port on the back of this unit. If so, what is the purpose? Firmware upgrades? MP3 playback from your PC?(That would be sweet to see winamp visuals...
