    RA-931 & B&W DM600S3 ???

Hello everyone. I am trying to help out a buddy of mine. He would like a budget stereo for his garage under $500. I have found the RA-931 for $200 and the DM600S3's for $300. Now with that being said. The Rotel integrated amp is a pretty old model and only has a spec output of 35WPC. Is this going to be any good? Or should he get the speakers and buy a brand new cheap stereo amp from best buy????

It all depends on what application he will be using it for. Will he be having garage parties and playing at at high volumes ?Is his garage a workshop and will power tools be in use?Or will it be a get away place to enjoy music? What type of music does he listen too?Is there a WAP in affect?
