Has anyone here installed this type of WAP panel? I am looking to add a few access points in my home, currently my wireless router setup is not strong enough for whole house coverage even with a booster antenna. I found these WAP panels and thought they may work. Any thoughts or ideas?

I haven't used them, but they look like a clean way to extend your range.
I have seen some WAPs with better range that basically look like a router with a big antenna. We have some in another mill that uses wireless thin clients at operator stations. Works fine, but it's not as nice looking as what you found.Danish- Bottom

Neat. I wish I knew about those when I was building my house a year ago! :B
I don't know how they are as far as range, but it sounds like you can install them in different parts of your house/building to extend the range. Plus mounting them high on a wall or in the ceiling would help the signal get past obstructions better.
Maybe I'll put one in my house, up high in the kitchen. That should give me good range all through the house...- Bottom

A full-range driver, also known as a wideband driver, is a type of loudspeaker driver designed to reproduce a broad range of audio frequencies without the need for a separate crossover network or multiple drivers. It is engineered to cover a wide frequency spectrum, typically from the low-midrange to the upper treble frequencies, all in a single driver unit. Full range drivers feature several characteristics that separate them from standard drivers:- Whizzer Cone: Some full-range

by JohnloudbHi,
Well I'm about 45 miles from a high definition transmission tower and I tried a Phillips indoor antenna and it didn't have enough range (20 miles). So, I thought someone here might have some suggestions. I could possibly use an outdoor antenna outside, if it's not too big.-

by ssvHi,
I JUST got my 42" plasma flat panel HD tv (Magnavox 42FM230A), mounted on the wall, looks great with DVDs. According to Antennaweb.org I'm about 21 miles from my local HD stations transmitters. The previous owners of this house had a DirectTV dish and LEFT it mounted on... -
by Brian BungeOK, so I "won" a pair of Dayton RS mids yesterday at the Palm Bay DIY Event and am trying to get a handle on how I should use them. At first, I was wondering what the big advantage it would be using it over say the RS125 for a mid. The 125 would go lower obviously. But it looks like the...-
