RC-1082 - Two inputs selected at same time??

I'm enjoying my new RC-1082 immensely and am glad I am not still waiting on the 15 series.

An odd thing has happened several times though. I turn on my system with a Harmony One remote, and usually it works just fine. But occasionally (three or four times now) it starts with two pre-amp inputs selected, i.e. two of the blue lights over the input buttons glowing and both of those two inputs sending music to the speakers.

I am surprised that this is even possible, thinking that there would be some hardware or software mechanism to allow only one input to be active at a time. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it something that can or should be fixed, maybe with a software upgrade or reboot or something? When this double input occurs (it is typically the tuner and Aux1), I can select either one by pressing the corresponding remote button and the other input turns off and deselects itself and everything seems normal. Can anyone explain this?

That is strange. You can try a simple reboot by unplugging it for about 30 seconds or so and then plugging it back in. If that doesn't cure the problem then contact your dealer or tech support at techsupport@bwgroupusa.com .

One strange phenom that happened with my RC-1082. In standby mode, power off, if I touch an input (like phono) button, it will power on the pre just as if I pushed the power button.

      Strange?

That's normal and works on the surround models as well. Should work from the remote as well.

miner, I can confirm that my RC-1082 does this too.

Kevin D. & Nigel, thanks for verifying the input power-on cycle.

              Experiencing Problems with Zhd
              by jsetliff
I have had my Zhd installed for about a week now and have experienced the same problem about once a day. The Zhd is connected to the C1 using the supplied RS232 cable. I have three of the five HDMI inputs in use. About once a day, the Zhd switches from the currently selected input to no selected...

I’ve recently discovered a small issue with RSP-1066 and MULTI Inputs.

In my setup I’ve a DVD multi-player (SACD/DVD-A) connect to RSP-1066 through a coax digital cable and though 5.1 analog outs. The analogs ICs are connect to the Multi inputs of RSP-1066.

RSP 1069 Strange issue - Any Suggestions?
              by chanlon
I just purchased a new Rotel 1069 processor at a great clearance price. Unfortunately, I have been unable to display a satellite TV image correctly.
I have my satellite receiver (motorolla/starchoice 530) connected using a DVD-HDMI adapter to HDMI input 1.
It displays the source but not...
