    rsp-1069 with ipod

I tried connecting my ipod using an RCA Y cable to video 2 input. I set it for Analog Audio and No video in Bypass mode. I cannot get any sound. What am I doing wrong?

If you are using the headphone jack on the iPod, do you have the volume on the iPod turned down? If so you won't get any sound. Outside of that you should try a different input that is used by something else (so you know it works) to see if the same thing happens.

      RSP-1068 - Can I switch video input "on-the-fly"?
      by Blindamood
Does anyone know of a way (via the remote) to switch the current video input without first going to the OSD?

For example, while I'm listening to SACD/DVD-Audio, I'm using the Ext mode (multi-channel analogs). I have set this--via the OSD--to show Video2 (HDTV) by default; however, I...

      1098 Video Setup Questions
      by skipm
Since this is the first receiver/processor that I've owned with more than 2 component video inputs I wanted to check with the other 1098 owners in the group to make sure I was reading the setup information correctly. You can connect 5 video sources, labeled Video 1 thru 5. You have 4 component video...

I have decided to upgrade my SR4300 receiver to something a bit better and which uses my 6.1 speakers to the full. The annoying problem is because of the one 6.1 analogue input socket I have to keep swapping cables everytime I wish to use the DVD Audio player for DVD Audio discs, because I also have...

Video OUT connections on RSP 1066
      by aramb
I have the Rotel 1066 processor and have a question regarding hooking it up.

According to the manual, the Component Inputs on the processor cannot be assigned, so I have connected Component 1 input to my DVD player and the Component 2 input to my HDTV cable box.

      The manual...
