    Has Any One Bi-Amped 2 RB1080

    Hi All

My Question is has anyone Bi-Amped two RB1080 and if so what was the difference in the sound Quality, I have One RB1080 at the moment, And thinking of getting another to Bi-Amp.

My Speakers are KRIX Neuphonix. I love the sound on what come out of the Rotel it is very good, I had a Musical Fidelity A5-5 but did don't work right for me so I got a Rotel, what am saying it the Rotel is very close to the Musical Fidelity.

    Thanks

You'd be better off finding a RB-1090 than two 1080s. That's a big difference compared to the minor/slight improvement with using two 1080s.

If you love the sound you're getting, why biamp?
My experience is that depending on the speakers and the listening habits (and some would say the room) biamping helps a little bit. I got better bass and something I would describe as fluidity or effortlessness but it is something I can hear only in some passages and in some records like full orchestras playing and listening at high volume.

The big question you should ask is if it is worth to spend twice the money in two amps or twice the money in one better amp. I would say it's better to have one better amp.

Right now I'm biamping using the RB-1075, and I'm doing it because my receiver refused to work, and I'm using a stereo preamp feeding four of the amps. But If I were in your situation I would buy the RB-1090 or one of the new 250 W/ch amps.

        Thanks For Your Replays

When I was buying the RB-1080 I asked about the RB-1090 and they do not make them anymore, I have looked for the 1090 but could not fine Any Think.

The only way to fine out is to try to get a demo model to test and if like I will buy one I think the only way to go.

          Need help!
My RMB1075 is driving my Sur, Front and Center and RB1050 drives back Sur. my fronts are CDM9NT. I do run 7.1 setup for HT and stereo for music, I have noticed that my 9NTs don't have allot of life in stereo mode. Spoke to my Rotel dealer and he agrees that 9NTs require more power....

          Rb1080 trade-up to RB1090
          by AA6US
I recently bought an RB1080. My speakers are 2.5 ohms, and I have to put a 200W non-inductive resistor in series with one side of the speaker cable to bring it up to 6.5 ohms, which the RB1080 handles just fine (It did NOT like 2 ohms and now I see in the specs the RB1080 works only down to 4 ohm, not...

          Is a bi-amped Rb1080 as good Rb1090

          I currently have a Rotel Rb1090 driving two Aussie mainspeakers ( Vaf I-93 Signatures ) and a Rotel RMB1095 driving the centre and 4 surrounds ( Vaf I-91's ).

I am awaiting delivery of a singular horizontal version of the mainspeakers ( I-93) to replace my current centre channel. Now,...

Looking to drive my CDM9NT with 2 RB1080 has any one done this before.
Or would it be better to get RB1090.
I know I’m looking at this for some time now but I just would like to make this the perfect fit with my RMB1075 that I use for center and surrounds

          Biamping with the 802D's
          by moonlightdrive21
Has anyone tried doing A/B comparisons on the 802D's with biamping vs. not biamping?

I was wondering how much better it would sound with two Classe 3200 power amps (200 watts per channel) biamped on my 802D's/HTM2D as opposed to just using one 3200 amp for the three speakers.
