When setting the speaker distance ,what is a good rule of thumb when setting distance, should you round up or down the distance. If my speaker is 12.7 feet away, to I set it at 12 or 13 feet?

Set it to 13. 12.7 is very much closer to 13 than to 12. I just always use the common round up/down rule of everything in the .5 range.
More important is the fact that it sounds correct to you. Listen to something you know off by heart and makes sure it sounds correct! The biggest test is with dialog because you can hear the voices change where they are coming from, especially if it doesn't seem like the L/C/R are all seemless.Digital Audio makes me Happy.

by ChrossHi,
Does anyone know that the volumeadjustments for the distance of the speakers are also availible for the multi-input (DVD-A, SACD)?
Or is everything bypassed?
(Pioneer DV575 does not have a seperate volume adjustment for the 5.1 channels
