On my RR-1050 remote, I can press and hold any of the input buttons (i.e. CD, TUN, V1, V2, etc) and the RSP-1098 will switch to that input. However, V3 on the remote does not do that. It is the only button that will not transmit an input change on the RSP-1098. Is there a way to fix this?

I have a new (few weeks) RSX1056. I have had a few problems with the remote - sometimes it freezes up on a particular input and to get it to do anything you have to pull a battery and reload it then it seems ok. The other thing is the backlighting seems to intermitently not work or not... -
Recently, my RR1050 remote has displayed "FRQ DIR" and no buttons work. I tried pressing the reset, preload and clear buttons, but only the reset seems to do anything. The LCD screen flashes, but the same message keeps coming up. Has anyone encountered this? Any suggestions? -
Well I have both the RSP1098 and C1 side by side and I have had the C1 a full week and have played CD, DVD, Satellite TV's and am ready to give a general comparison of strengths and weaknesses.

Just yesterday my RR-1050 remote for my RSP-1068 started acting up.
When editing a label for a function on the remote, various characters on the remote display will cause other items to appear faintly (like the learn and edit icons) or faint lines through the main characters to appear...
