For those who have used both - pros and cons. Thinking about replacing my RC-1070 with the RC-1082. The power amp will be a RB-1070. All commnets welcomed and appreciated.

I'm curious as well of which differences there might be between these two preamps. Anybody care to comment? -
I have a RB-1070, as noted above, and a RB-1090. The RB-1090 is sonically better but not by much. I have read that the RB1082 comes close to the RB-1090 - I just don't care for the bass/treble controls on the RB-1082.Comment

I presently have the RC1070 and like it very much. Have the chance to get the discontinued RC1090 at good price. Will I see an appreciable sonic improvement in that upgrsde?
