Does anyone have experience driving Vandersteen 1C speakers with the Rotel RB-1090 amp. Would this be a good match?

I think 1090 only match with bigger speakers -
Have no experience with Vanderstein but the 1090 matches well with my Klipsch RF-7 speakers. And the 1090 runs fairly cool and draws little amps [.6amps]. This is a GREAT amp.Comment

I have heard Zmanband's system, and it is V good! The 1090 is wonderful!
Also, if you don't have power hungry speakers, or are still building your system and planning future upgrades, if you get the 1090 now, it will be many many years before you ever would need anything better.

I have no experience with those particular speakers, but do have a RB-1090 powering a set of paradigm studio 100v3's in a surround speaker system and am always amazed at how good they sound. This amp can push my speakers to their limits with reserves to spare. It can play both very dynamically and subtle when needed. Just watched the Island the other day, took my breath away this one.
I was looking for a sub that will add to my systems current bass capabilities and have settled on a SVS PB-13 ultra which will arrive in precisely 3 weeks time

Setup:

Guys!!!dont you think that 1090's 380w per channel it's too much for klipsch rf7 i know they need a lot of juice but 380?? blowing up a roof in my house thats not the option -
Today, I just got back from hearing the 1090 and 1091/1092 amps duke it out with the BW802D... side by side. I must say, I preferred the RB1090 by a good margin. I thought that the 1090 took better control of the 802D in ALL aspects, from the bass to the diamond tweeter. The 1090 had greater stage...

What does the switch do ? why does the manual say that both balanced and unbalance connections should not be used at the same time ?

i got maranzt sr8500 and klipsch rf7 only used for 2 channel im not saying am not happy however sometimes i got that feeling that im missing something.i know that getting rotel amp(rb 1090) would make me feel a lot better ....anybody out there having this combo ???????a lot better or just a little...
