    RSX-1055 (F/W 2.30) keeps switching to standby

    Three weeks ago I upgraded (!?!) my firmware from 2.26 to 2.30 and since that day my RSX 1055 keeps on switching itself into standby.

    I have noticed that it tends to happen within the first 30 minutes of switching the unit on - so I'm thinking maybe something to do with it not having warmed-up. It can switch itself to standby upto four times during the first 30 mins of use.

    Before I contact Rotel, I am wondering whether anybody else has experienced this before so that I can eliminate the v2.30 firmware and put it down to age?

      Has anyone come across this problem. My C2 keeps switching itself off after a couple mintues of listening. I cant turn it back on again via the remote or the front panel and have to resort to switching the power off from the back and restarting. It was working fine before I went on holiday.

      RA-1062 keeps blowing fuses

      My Rotel RA-1062 stopped working in standby, nothing playing, just was dead in the morning.

      It keeps blowing the fuses F603 and F604 when I switch it on. Those next to the toroidal transfomer. They blow immediately no speaker or input attached.

      Any chance to get the service...

      I think I know the answer, but if you have two or three video inputs, can the monitor out be sent to a video hub and seen on other displays with the main unit in standby only, or does it need to be powered on. Zone 2 will send it via composite in standby mode I believe.
