V2.25 to V2.26
- Eliminated popping sound heard during DSP and Digital mode transitions.
- Set surround mode to default to DPLII when selected rather than reverting to PCM
2CH when changing channels with Digital Cable or Satellite sources.

V2.26 to V2.27
- Improved memory back up software.

V2.27 to V2.29
- Added support for RVE-1060 video scaler to enable the scaler to switch video inputs
automatically whenever the video input is changed on the RSP-1066.

V2.29 to V2.30
- Improved memory back up software.

Since I upgraded(from 2.26 to 2.30) the software i'm not able to play DTS audio tracks anymore? Has someone else with the same gear exeperinced the same problem?

gear:
pre rsp1066 (duh)
cd rcd990 (analog for stereo and digital for dts)
dvd Philips DVP5980/12

All devices are connected coaxial, tried resetting to factory defaults, no sollution. Before the firmware upgrade dvd-dts and dts-audio were no problem at all.

RSP1066 firmware 2.30 DTS problem

I have contacted Rotel concerning this issue, the advice was to reload the software, first start wih the older 2.26 and afterwards the new 2.30. If the problem still exists I should contact my dealer and bring in the device.

Weird answer, I have upgraded several times firmwares on many machines and never experienced these kinds of problems. But still I will followup this advice.

One question, has omeone still have the old firmware (2.26)? I can't find it on the Rotel site. Ofcourse I will test the DTS capabilities of the 2.26 software before upgrading.
