    Just purchased a 1066

Currently i have an adcom gfa-555 driving my fronts and a rotel 980 for my center and an adcom gfa-535 for the rears.
I have been reading about the bigger Rotel amps. Do Rotel owners prefer one massive amp over seperates?
    thanks

I think it depends on a couple of factors, one being how the system is used. For example, if your are heavy into music but still what the ability to run a 5/7 surround system a beefy 2 channel amp for the fronts and another one to power the center and surrounds might make sense. Another could be space. If you dont have a lot of it running multiple amps may not make sense. Power outlets is something else to consider. For each amp you need to be able to plug them in without overloading a circuit or have to use lots of extension cords. Ideally, if there are no limiations whatsoever a seperate amp for each speaker would be the best situation. But this is the real world and that is not an option for most people.
