    New 1056: No OSD

    I have done a search and read about other peoples problems with no OSD but still can't work out my problem.

    I have the AUD mode selected on the remote, and then press the Menu/OSD button on the remote. I see the OSD on the front panel display light up but there is no OSD on my TV.

    The receiver is connected to my TV through S-video, and I can see the source material on the screen.

    I also don't get the 'System Status' screen when I power the unit on.


    Any ideas?

      I just tried running the same setup through composite instead of S-Video and have the same problem.

          Also make sure you are connecting to the monitor outputs, not one of the video outputs.
