    12V trigger question

    Hi All,

I now have the Rotel 1075 and had a question regarding the 12v trigger. When I turn on the receiver the 1075 turns on also. I hear an audible click and all the front circuit lights turn on then fade out. Same thing happens when it shuts off. Is this normal? Also... is the red led light suppose to be on all the time?

    Thanks

Yes. The 1075 is turned on and off by a big relay, controlled by the receivers trigger output. The 1075's protection lights will briefly light during this process.

The red power led light. Is it suppose to stay on? Does it change color when the trigger is activated?

            Hi all,
I recently had a new home threatre installed which consists of my current Onkyo 787 receiver acting as a processor and new Rotel RMB-1075 and RB-1070 providing the amplification for a 7.1 setup (which sounds fantasic btw). The problem being that my Onkyo doesn't have a 12 volt trigger...

Rotel RMB 1075 Protection light not working
            by pchanj
            Hi,
I was wondering whether someone has experienced anything like this. Just a few weeks ago, after watching a movie. I turned off my amplifier RMB 1075 and heard a loud pop. I cannot really tell if it came from the amp or speaker, but one thing I noticed though was that the protection light...

            Trigger pulled, Universal Remote?
            by Patrick TX
Well, I finally did it, pulled the trigger on the 1066/1075 in Silver. My dealer should have it in a week. I'm moving to seperates, WooHoo! Here's my question. I was underwhelmed by the remote on the display unit I was looking at. It just didn't feel "right", to me. I was also playing with...

            by murali
            Hello Rotel owners,
New to the forum. Just bought a RSP-1068 and RMB-1075 combo with great expectations for HT (driving center, surround and rear speakers). A couple of doubts, please:
            (1) When I power on the RMB-1075, its LED on front plate is red and stays that way throughout though...
