Rotel RMB 1075 Protection light not working

    Hi,
I was wondering whether someone has experienced anything like this. Just a few weeks ago, after watching a movie. I turned off my amplifier RMB 1075 and heard a loud pop. I cannot really tell if it came from the amp or speaker, but one thing I noticed though was that the protection light (red light) went off from the Front Right channel.

I was worried so I had it checked by the repair center but they could not find anything wrong with it. I noticed that intermittently, the Front right light (red) would not light up after pressing the power switch to off. But after having two repair center looked at it, they could not find anything wrong with it.

So I brought it home tonight. And whilst turning it on and connecting it back to my system. When I press the power button to turn it on, you would normally hear a clicking sound and it powers on. That sound disappeared. And now, when I press to turn it off, all the protection light does not light up (red) before powering off. Only the blue light works.

I was hoping someone could provide some advice on this. Thank you in advance...

      RMB-1095 Won't Power Up
      by Fargo
      Hello,

Went to turn on the RMB-1095 the other day and it would not power up. Normal start-up sequence is for the power indicator to light (blue LED) after the power switch is pushed in. Next, all five channel over-current protection indicators light (red LED) and then after a few seconds...

      RSP-1068 and RMB-1075 power on
      by murali
      Hello Rotel owners,
New to the forum. Just bought a RSP-1068 and RMB-1075 combo with great expectations for HT (driving center, surround and rear speakers). A couple of doubts, please:
      (1) When I power on the RMB-1075, its LED on front plate is red and stays that way throughout though...

      RB 1080 Protection light
      by DrJRapp
I just got my 1080 back today after an extended stay at the Rotel hospital. It seems to work great. One thing scares me though, when I power it up the red protection light stays on for about 15 to 20 seconds. I swapped speakers and cables with a pair of bookshelves just to be sure it wasn't anything...

1095 protection leds giving some fun?
      by conchuco
      Hello all,

I'm a new ( and happy ) rotel user for over two months now. 1066 + 1095 feeding a pair of b&w n804 as mains, htm1 as centre and 2x705 as rears. To say that I'm enchanted with the system's performance is an understatement !
      I found a buzz/hiss problem with the 1095...

OK, well not a full review just yet but I thought I would post my initial impressions:

I will first get the list of gear used out of the way:

      Pre-Pro: Parasound Halo C2

Speakers: Totems Model-1's Signature Series. (4 pairs) A pair of Totem Thunders Subs (on...
