i have a motorola pvr 6412 connected to my rsp-1068 using the coax digital in for audio, when i am on an analog channel the 1068 goes to dolby digital pro logic II , if i try to change to neo 6 cinema it wont let me i have tried the remote and front panel.

Does not seem to work if you are using digital connection via coax or optical. Try analogue rca cables if possible. -
Have you listened to Neo6 on anything? Not even worth fooling with in my opinion.

You know, I have noticed this lately as well. I used to switch back and forth between Neo:6 and PLII periodically to compare the surround matrix decoding. However, I've noticed lately that I cannot select Neo:6 even when I want to. I don't know if this is caused by something different in the Dolby Digital signal coming through, or if one of the Rotel software updates made a change. Strange though.
I really do prefer PLII Music most of the time (although many tv programs are coming through with "Dolby Digital" now), but wonder why the Neo:6 option is no longer available...BradComment

Ok guy's, i'm getting no sound from digital out of this processor. Does anyone have any clue why? Does anyone else have this combo? Has anyone here had any experience using the digital outputs of this receiver? The manual states any digital input selected will be outputted on both coax and toslink output connections. I am assuming this is a full strength non-attenuated signal?

I just purchased a Moon Supernova CD player that has a digital input and I am thinking about making use of it. Do any of you know of/use a SIRIUS radio that has a coax digital output. If so what are your thoughts on it?

I *may* have the ability to pick up a pair of meridian active speakers that I would use as mains but these beasties only accept digital inputs. does anyone know how successful I would be using them with the 1066 if I were to get them?

Hello, I recently upgraded to dual-DSP/new firmware. I have a CDP-10 feeding the SSP-800.
It loses sync once in a while. I had this happen a couple of times before the dual-DSP upgrade. The analog outs of the CDP-10 don't skip.
