    Stacking Rotel equipment

Has anyone stacked a Rotel CDP directly on top of a Rotel amp? I ask because I just dropped over $200 on some Cardas interconnects at 0.5 meters and they barely reach between my RCD-1072 and RA-1062 because of my rack. I am probably going to end up exchanging the interconnects for a larger size but that will cost almost another hundred bucks.

I am thinking about just putting my CDP directly on top of the amp but I am worried about overheating. My room is fairly cool and the amp is barely warm to the touch after about an hour of listening to a CD. It's never hot or very warm. Would I be okay?

I am just trying to save myself the hassle of dishing out more cash for longer cables.

Play it safe... put the amp on top of the CD player, it's a sturdy enough box and the amp isn't that heavy anyway.

I've cooked a DVD player in the past by stacking on top of an amp.

      Class CAM 350 vs Bryston 14B ST with B&W 802N - opinion
      by amdan
My local dealer had a couple of Classe CAM 350 monoblocks for sale and was kind enough to allow me to home trial. The only reason I trialed them was the loyal Classe following in this forum. Many of you maintain that Classe and B&W are an excellent match. I have also seen a few posts elsewhere saying...

I recently received my Odyssey Tempest Extreme Pre Amp and the Eastern Electric Minimax Tube CD Player.

So finally I was able to hook up my Halo A21 with a quality Pre Amp and CD Player (and the Odyssey Nightingales speakers).

Well, after burning these components in for...

      Phasing, locating, or stacking subwoofers?
      by mfishmike
I've finished up my second (identical) dual SS RLP-15 subwoofer with 4 side mount passive radiators. Tuning is 23 hz. Power is about 900 watts with each subwoofer driven by a separate QSC 1450 amp.

I got the newly finished sub in the house last night and even though I didn't corner...

      by Woo Wooooo
You guys see any problem stacking the 1050 DVD on top of the RSP-1098.
Does the 1098 generate enough heat to hurt the DVD over time. :M My enclosure is fan cooled.... : Option 2 I can stack the 2 amps the RMB-1075 and the RB-1070 on top of it. what is the lesser of the two evils ...

B&W 800's Better with Ayre or Classe'?
      by RebelMan
There has been some personal interest in my recent visit with Ayre and Classe' that I thought I would share with the people here. It is a bit lengthy but I hope you find it a useful read just the same.

      Purpose:

You are probably wondering why I would even bother to demo...
