According to the website and descriptions, I would say the Kingcats. There might be certain instances where one would be preferred over the other. You will probably have better result asking Lex himself or posting in the CATcables forum.

        Hi,

The Kingcats are better (I have 9 of them )... But you need the quality in your source to really hear and take advantage of them... Try PMing Lex at this forum he is the owner of Catcables..

I'm using Silvercats in all of my gear, I talked to Lex about the benefits of the Kingcats over the Silvercats and with my setup (RSp-1098/1095/1080 with my CA 640c v2), we both agreed that I wouldn't benefit for the price.

I definitely think though that the silvercats are an amazing cable for their price!

I'd say if you can afford the KingCats, then by all means, get them. But if you want to save a few bucks, the silvercats, well you won't be disappointed by them.

...and I'm sure Doug or someone will end up moving this to the CatCables forum.

                      Yup... ask Doug directly.

He's very intuitive with system matching, and eager to help.

I've got Kings, love em... never heard the Silvercats.

                        Hi,

For those of you that followed the long running Sliver Digital Coax thread HERE there was some consternation (by myself and others) that with the RCD-1072 into the RSP-1098 I found it sounded better with the Silver Digital Coax than with my $200 Analog RCA... We all knew that the

I have a much happier tale to bring you all today!

I contacted Doug at Catcable, looking for interconnects for my system. I had been considering and researching alternatives to the cables that I bought when I purchased the Rotel equipment.

                        Subsequent to buying the Rotel...

                        Hi All,
I've been using my new RCD-1072 cd player connected to my Perreaux Headphone amp and Sennheiser HD-650 headphones for a couple of weeks now. The level of detail produced by the RCD-1072 is outstanding. Combined with a good pair of headphones you don't miss a trick from the CD. Well, just...

It's pretty hard to outdo yourself with a great product like the Silvercat. But, alas, I give you, the Silvercat Xcess. Ok, that name is still in flux a bit, aren't they always? lol. But I think you will agree, this is one awesome looking set of CATs!!!
