    Hi,

I have the following rotel combination RDV-1092, RSP-1068 and the RMB-1075. Now i want to test if the display on de DVD-player and the surroucndprocessor will display the correct value. So i am looking fo a DVD-A disc with the follwoing samples:

    48Khz
    44.1 Khz
    96 Khz,
    192Khz,
    etc.

Does anyone know wherr i can download this kind of DVD or how i can create it.

    Kind regards.

You cannot send DVD-A digitally to the RSP-1068 (analog 5.1 inputs only), so I'm not sure you're going to see 96kHz or 192kHz on the processor display for this format. The 1068 *will* show DTS 96/24, however, if you can find one of those (they're fairly rare -- try Queen's "A Night at the Opera", for example).

Otherwise, what I do is use my dvd player's bitrate display to view the bitrate that is currently being played for DVD-As.

As for 48kHz, just play any standard DVD through a digital input. Same for 44.1...just play a standard CD.

Help on setting up for DVDA
      by Danbry39
Just bought my first DVDA, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and need to know how to set up the Rotel 1066. Denon 1600 DVD player to output DVDA. Right now, I've placed the disc in the 1600 and sound seems to come out of all speakers after I pushed the Multi Imput button on the Rotel's front panel. The display...

      RDV1060 DVDA Problem
      by fordster
I've had my RDV1060 for a few weeks now and finally got round to buying a DVD Audio (Under Rug Swept - Alanis Morrisette). When I insert the disc the player picks up that it is a DVDA and shows 96-24MLP on the display. However, that's about all that happens beyond a bit of clicking. The timer eventually...

      1068 - KHZ display
      by Stevebez
Was wondering what the display on the 1068 was on about when the processor displayes - 48kHz for DD sources and 44.1 for CD's etc ... is there any occasion when it would display 96 or 192 ... ?? Is this source dependant?

Even for HDCD sources the kHz reading remains at 44.1.

      1066 front panel display
      by Mark Paquette
I've had my RSP1066 for a little over 1 year now and just today I decided to jump into the world of DVD-A. When I'm playing a DVD-A disc shouldn't the front panel display of my 1066 show something other than 48kHz?
