    1068 - KHZ display

Was wondering what the display on the 1068 was on about when the processor displayes - 48kHz for DD sources and 44.1 for CD's etc ... is there any occasion when it would display 96 or 192 ... ?? Is this source dependant?

Even for HDCD sources the kHz reading remains at 44.1.

    Any thots?

Most of the time you'll see it displaying 44.1 KHz, the CD sampling rate (also for HDCD).
DVD's are 48 KHz like you said, and 96 and 192 are mainly used by upsampling CD players.
I doubt there are any other sources that put out 96 or 192 KHz.

      Rotel and HDCD processing
      by madmac
      Hello all,

Most of the time I send an analog signal to my Rotel amp for CD listening because I find the DAC's in my Marantz to produce better audio than the DAC's inside my Rotel. However, when I want to listen to HDCD's I need my Rotel to do the conversion and send a digital signal to...

      RDV-1060 HDCD support?
      by Chili
      Hi!
I got my first Rotel product last week when I bought the RSX-1065. I know that it supports HDCD, and when I tried one in my current dvd-player (cheap JVC) it had "HDCD" in the display. I'm going to buy the RDV-1060, so my question is this: Do I need a HDCD compatible dvd-player...
